Failure

Starry Night Over Rhone by Vincent Van Gogh

I know it will come to this point when I will say goodbye to the stars and the sky. I am not among them anymore. They look down upon me now, and I stare back at them gnawing. I am now stuck to the ground, and I must embrace it for I shall be made a fool if I didn’t. Perhaps someday I will be worthy to be with the constellations once more. But in the meantime, I can only do as much as making impressions with my shadow. It is the only way I can become a giant to reach the place where I used to belong. It is the only way that I can reminisce what I was worth. My fate has brought me back to the ground where I shall dream once more; where I shall look back at the stars and the sky gnawing, but ever hopeful.
